Wärtsilä has signed a Letter of Intent for the construction of a new office building and a test facility for electrical and automation technology at Stord. The office building will accommodate 310 employees. “With this investment we are strengthening both Wärtsilä’s global Centre of Excellence for electrical and automation solutions at Stord, as well as the company’s system portfolio,” says Sveinung Hansen, Managing Director of Wärtsilä Norway.
